  September 18th: photographic evidence

I just got pictures back from the trip! I'm so excited that I'm just going to put them up and call it an entry, because a. my net connection is sucking large rocks right now and b. I'm tired. So here are links to pictures of my fabulous vacations! (and a few I took at home.)

Me spinning around, in Minnesota.

Pictures taken at Beaners:

Chris, looking sorta smug

Loba in her cool shades

Me with my head down on the table

A bona fide 100% natural Beaner's cup

Pictures taken at the airport (do I HAFTA go home?):

Me and Loba

Me and Chris

Pictures taken at home:

Entering into meaningful dialogue with my hair

Pseudo Glamour Shots pose

Man, this sidewalk is hard

Some day, I will learn that overalls are only flattering when I'm standing up.

Detail of me sprawled on the lawn

All of the pictures of me by myself were taken with the trusty timer function of my camera, which I've been playing with. I like cameras...as long as there aren't people behind them. I think it comes from my old horror of being looked at, my old wish to be invisible. The camera seems to intensify the gaze of whoever looking at me through it.

But put a camera without anyone behind it in front of me, and suddenly I'm wasting film like there's no tomorrow. Hee!

Because smart girls are better in bed.

how goes the war?
We conquered the Puyallup Fair and surveyed the enemy's vast ranks of cows.
