June 23rd, 2000: all work and no play
Okay, people, you gotta let me know something.

Just how many of you, the people who read this on a regular basis, are reading it on IE3, Netscape 3, or any other browser that doesn't support CSS?

I promise not to get offended or huffy or whatever. I genuinely want to know. I'm thinking of using style sheets with the journal from now on, and I need to know if i'm going to make this look completely awful for people who can't use CSS.

But unless i get a huge outcry from those who have to use old, old browsers, I'm going CSS sometime next week. (I finally figured out how to make a style sheet work cross-browser. Go me.)

By the way, I have, as they say, mad skillz. I've been getting my portfolio together, and I've actually done more than I thought over the past four or so years.

I'm going to dig out some of my writing samples and toss them into the portfolio, as well. I've needed to do this for some time, and I'm glad I finally got around to doing it.

As for everything else--

i'm getting the house together, slowly but surely. Yesterday, I put together the entertainment center and moved a bunch of stuff around.

Emotional stability is coming more slowly. I spend a lot of time staring off into space. This morning, Chris correctly diagnosed the major cause of my malaise:

I haven't been doing anything fun lately.

I haven't seen a movie in months. I rarely go anywhere if I don't have to. I've been working on house stuff, and, well, staring off into space.

This obviously must change.

Things I'll attempt to think about this weekend: what I want to do to have fun. I think going and seeing a movie would be a start.
